Below is our Cape Town option including the winelands and in season, the whales at Hermanus, and for the brave, there is Shark cage diving as well!

This option is lodging in Cape Town and the winelands, fully guided, on BB. This add on can also be a stand-alone tour.

The Portswood Hotel V&A Waterfront Cape Town

Arrive Cape Town airport from Windhoek the afternoon, here we will transfer to the Portswood hotel in the V&A Waterfront. This luxury 4* hotel is situated right in the waterfront, only minutes away from the restaurants and shops! Accommodation on bed & breakfast.

This afternoon explore the waterfront with its many attractions, there are also sundowner yacht cruises from the waterfront that includes dinner! BB

Today a visit up Table Mountain, a city tour with a visit to the traditional Cape Malay area in the Bo Kaap, a historic area in Cape Town dating back to the 1700’s.

This morning is an included visit to Cape Point via Chapmans Peak drive, and then the penguins at Simonstown. Overnight at waterfront again. BB

For the wine connoisseurs, enjoy Stellenbosch and Franschoek in the heart of the winelands! We leave the waterfront and make our way to one of the oldest wine estates in South Africa, Boschendal where we will taste their wines under the oaks! We'll then head to Franschoek for a visit to our French heritage! The afternoon we'll visit another of Stellenbosch's famous wine estates Weltevreden where we also overnight. BB

Leisure morning in Stellenbosch before we depart to the airport for flight out. END

Whale watching (Season, June to November) and shark cage diving all year for the more adventurous! June & July is rainy season in the Cape. Enjoy 2 nights in Hermanus at the Windsor hotel, only a short 1 hour drive from the winelands or less than 2 hours from Cape Town! Combine great sightings with an excellent included meal at ‘De Vette Mossel’ an open air beach restaurant with gourmet meals!

Two hours from Cape Town lies Hermanus, the whale capital of South Africa with the best land based whale watching, and also known for the best shark cage diving in the world!

‘Bientangs cave restaurant & wine bar’ is an actual cave in the side of the cliffs where you can enjoy gourmet meals with excellent wines from the region. Your outside tables are on the rocks, which also makes for excellent whale watching!

Depart from Cape Town or the winelands for a short drive around the mountain, stop at Benguela Cove wine estate for some wine tasting, and perhaps a light lunch. Then continue to Hermanus, check into the Windsor hotel. Afternoon at leisure to explore the town or watch the whales. Dinner at one of the many restaurants available for own account. BB

Optional Shark Cage diving this morning or watch the whales from Bientangs Cave. Option included to visit the local wine estates the afternoon. Dinner included tonight at De Vette Mossel. DBB
