Terms and Conditions

General:

Maximum Ten (10) Guests per Tour
No children under 16 years of age - family tours can be arranged
Guests must adhere to the guides requests concerning safety and security at all times
All tours and safaris undertaken with Getaway Tours and Safaris are done so entirely at own risk
All rates quoted are in South African Rands and are per person sharing. For Single Supplement: Add 20% to quoted price.
A ten percent (10%) non-refundable deposit is required to confirm booking
Final payment must reach our offices sixty (60) days prior to depature date of tour
Please ensure that all necessary travel documents and visas are in order prior to arrival
Guests must ensure that they have adequate travel insurance and medical cover
Guests are advised to commence anti-malaria medication two (2) weeks prior to arrival

What to Bring:

Camera or camcorder and plenty of film and replacement batteries
Lightweight binoculars and Sensible Walking Shoes
Sun glasses, sun lotion / sun block and hat are essential
On safari, it's best to wear neutral colours - bright colours may alarm animals

Electricity:

220 Volt, 50 Hz

Cancellations:

All cancellations with Getaway Tours and Safaris are subject to hospitality industry requirements
Cancellations thirty (30) to fifteen (15) days prior to arrival, forfeit fifty percent (50%) of deposit
Cancellations fourteen (14) to eight (8) days prior to arrival, forfeit full deposit
Cancellations less than seven (7) days prior to arrival and 'no shows' will forfeit full tour price
