Northern Namibia - 10 day

DAY 1

Arrive Windhoek airport, meet your Getaway Guide and travel North to the Africat foundation at Okonjima. DBB

DAY 2

Visit the cheetah and leopard project in the morning, Depart for Etosha and Mushara lodge after lunch. DBB

DAY 3

Game viewing in the Eastern Etosha, o/n Mushara. DBB

DAY 4

Game viewing Etosha, travel West to Okaukeujo, o/n. DBB

DAY 5

Game view then depart the afternoon for Toshari lodge outside Etosha, o/n DBB

DAY 6

Depart to a Himba orphaned village where we meet this nomadic tribe, then travel through Damaraland where we meet the Herero ladies in there colourful victorian dresses, continue through the Namib desert to the Skeleton coast and the resort town of Swakopmund. Dinner for own account at one of the many restaurants. BB

DAY 7

Leisure day in Swakopmund. Optional flight over dune sea at Sossusvlei, quad biking on the dunes, or leisure shopping! BB

DAY 8

Depart Swakop and head inland again through the Namib desert, lunch at Joe’s Beerhouse in Windhoek, then on to Sandune lodge in the Kalalhari. DBB

DAY 9

Early drive to see the meerkat colony, then meet the Bushman people, they show us their bush skills, fire making etc. Return for brunch at the lodge, tonight we see the Bushman dances around the fire. DBB

DAY 10

Return to Windhoek for flight out. END.

Southern Namibia - 11 day

DAY 1

Arrive from Windhoek airport, transfer to Sandune lodge where we meet the Bushman people who live on this 8000ha private reserve. DBB.

DAY 2

Early drive to see the meerkat colony, then meet the Bushman people, they show us their bush skills, fire making etc. Return for brunch at the lodge, leisure afternoon, tonight we see the Bushman dances around the fire. DBB

DAY 3

Depart from Sandune lodge and head South for the Kalahari and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Exit Namibia and enter South Africa, stay at Mata Mata camp. BBQ dinner. DBB

DAY 4

Game drive through the Kalahari, lion, cheetha, meerkat etc, o/n Tweerivieren camp. Optional night drive. DBB.

DAY 5

Depart for Namibia again and the Fish River canyon, the 2nd largest canyon in the world. O/n at the canyon lodge. DBB

DAY 6

Visit the canyon today, horse rides available, leisure afternoon. DBB

DAY 7

Depart the canyon and travel through to Ludritz on the coast, o/n at Aus in the Namib desert, watch for the wild horses of the Namib. DBB

DAY 8

Depart Aus and head North for Sossusvlei. O/n. DBB

DAY 9

Depart for the dune sea, the largest moving dunes in the world! Optional Balloon flight. Depart for Swakopmund on the coast, lunch at Solitaire in the Namib. O/n Swakopmund. BB

DAY 10

Leisure day Swakopmund. BB

DAY 11

Return to Windhoek for flight out. END.

Best of Namibia - 17 days

DAY 1

Arrive from Windhoek airport, transfer to Sandune Game lodge where we meet the Bushman people who live on this 8000ha private reserve. DBB.

Depart from Sandune lodge and head South for the Kalahari and the Transfrontier Park. Exit Namibia and enter South Africa, stay at Mata Mata camp. BBQ dinner. DBB

DAY 4

Game drive through the Kalahari, lion, cheetha, meerkat etc, o/n Tweerivieren camp. Optional night drive. DBB.

DAY 5

Depart for Namibia again and the Fish River canyon, the 2nd largest canyon in the world. O/n at the canyon lodge. DBB

DAY 6

Visit the canyon, horse rides available, leisure afternoon. DBB

DAY 7

Depart the canyon and travel through to Ludritz on the coast, visit the gost mining town of Kolmanskop, o/n at Aus in the Namib desert, watch for the wild horses of the Namib! DBB

DAY 8

Depart Aus and head North for Sossusvlei. O/n. DBB

DAY 9

Depart for the largest moving dunes in the world! Optional Balloon flight. O/n sossusvlei. DBB

DAY 10

Depart Sossusvlei and travel through the Khomas Hochland and the Nuakluft mountains to Windhoek, lunch in Windhoek before departing for the Africat foundation at Okonjima. DBB

DAY 11

Visit the cheetha and leopard project, Depart for Etosha and Mushara lodge. DBB

DAY 12

Game viewing in Etosha, o/n Mushara. DBB

DAY 13

Game viewing Etosha, travel to Okaukeujo, o/n. DBB
