East Africa with the Sirengeti plains and Mnt. Kilamanjaro in the backgroud hosts a rare spectical each year, the wildebeest migration. These migrations occured throughout Africa in days gone by, but now only the migration in the Serengeti is left. Travelling is in open safari 4x4 vehicles with tour escort and local guide. This safari covers the migration through the Serengeti and the Masai Mara. Also included is the Ngorongoro crater, lake Manyara with it’s famous tree climbing lions and lake Nakuru with it’s millions of flamingoes, and then the breathtaking view of mnt. Kilamanjaro from Amboseli.
The safari is concluded with a visit to the impressive Mnt. Kenya which straddles the Equator. Interesting tribes are met along the way, in Tanzania we meet the Hadzabi people, a stone age hunter gatherer tribe very similar to the bushman of the Kalahari, and in Kenya the Masai people. Both these tribes face huge pressures form modern society, how long they can continue to live as they have for thousands of years only time will tell, but on this tour we will have a glimpse into there lives.
DAY 1
We arrive in Nairobi and transfer to the Safari Park Hotel. During dinner we will watch a traditional dance show. DBB
DAY 2
We depart Safari Park after breakfast for Giraffe Mansion and the elephant orphanage before leaving for Amboseli, afternoon game drive. o/n Amboseli lodge. DBB

DAY 4
Today we leave Amboseli and Kenya and head for Tanzania and Lake Manyara. Afternoon game drive in Manyara National Park, o/n Lake Manyara hotel. LDBB |
DAY 5
Early morning depart for the Hadzabi Bushman near lake Eyasi, we will see how they hunt and gather, their medicinal plants etc. We leave the Hadzabi and head for Ngorongoro lodge on the rim of the crater with breathtaking views into the crater. o/n LDBB |
DAY 6
Full day game drive into the crater, o/n Ngorongoro lodge LDBB |
DAY 7
Leave the crater and head for the Serengeti, here we o/n at Lobo lodge in the east of Serengeti. LDBB |
DAY 8
Game viewing on our way to Seronera lodge in the center of the Serengeti plains. o/n LDBB |
DAY 9
Optional early morning ballon flight, game viewing for rest of the day, o/n seronera lodge. LDBB |
DAY 10
Early depart for Kenya, we travel over the Mara and Grumeti rivers, pass by lake Victoria before reaching the Masai Mara in Kenya, o/n Mara lodge. DBB |

We leave the Mara and take a short journey to Lake Nakuru with its flamingoes, o/n lake Nakuru. LDBB |
